I undertook a PhD at the Interface Analysis Centre (IAC), School of Physics, University of Bristol, focused on mechanistic and kinetic studies of uranium corrosion in mixed H2O-H2 systems, meeting the requirement to develop a more detailed understanding of uranium corrosion in storage environments.
From the uranium-hydrogen storage perspective, I have investigated the properties of uranium and other metals as a chemical storage mediums and investigated further the potential of producing and storing hydrogen within a nuclear facility using these metal candidates.
