About Me:
I am PhD student at the university of Bristol. I am researching the development of residual stresses within high temperature reactors. I was born in Bristol but moved to Toulouse, France when I was young and came back to England to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds. I love rugby, surfing and boxing.

My Typical Day:
A typical day will start with organizing what I would like to achieve for the day (after walking my Labrador & Doberman). If I require to be in labs for the day I would have organized the previous day. Any labs will require prep time, a method statement and any materials / training organized previously. As I am in the early stages of my PhD a lot of my time is spent research literature related to residual stress creation, experimental & virtual validation and Nuclear engineering research.

What I'd do with the prize money:
If I won the £500, I would use it to organize school activities in person (when allowed!) relating to Nuclear Engineering and encouraging young people to get involved in STEM learning. I would also like to encourage people from all aspects of life into a STEM career and would highlight the amazing opportunities within STEM.
